The crawler shot blasting machine (industrial sandblasting equipment) is an important surface treatment equipment, widely used in industrial production and manufacturing. Compared with other types of shot blasting machines, the crawler type shot blasting machine has advantages such as long service life, wide application range, and high work efficiency.
The crawler type shot blasting machine is known for its long service life. Compared with other shot blasting machines, it is lighter in weight and easier to transport. The crawler type shot blast cleaning machine has a simple structure and requires fewer materials, thus reducing the overall weight. Additionally, its straightforward design makes maintenance and upkeep easier, and it is less prone to structural damage during transportation. Therefore, with effective maintenance, the crawler shot blasting machine has a longer service life than other types of shot blasting machines, thereby reducing overall costs.
Causes: Poor balance, large objects entering the blasting unit causing blade damage, uneven wear of a set of blades resulting in significant weight differences.
Solutions: The weight difference between a set of blades should not exceed 5g and should be replaced in pairs.
Possible causes:
Excessive shot amount causing high current (load current should not exceed 15A), adjust the shot valve to reduce shot amount; damaged bearings, replace bearings; issues with the motor itself, check wiring and motor parameters.
Possible solutions:
Wear of the wear-resistant parts of the blasting unit, resulting in insufficient shot force, replace worn parts;
Low shot output, possibly due to clogged bottom screens or excessive dust accumulation, clean the screens in a timely manner;
Improper operation directly leading to low shot output.
The directional sleeve angle in the blasting unit is incorrect, adjust to the appropriate angle.
This may occur if the load of the separator is too high. Adjust the outlet baffle appropriately until dust collection efficiency is maintained without sucking in shot. Alternatively, a shot blocking device can be installed at the dust collector outlet.
Alloy steel shot, also known as cast steel shot, is a commonly used metallic abrasive for shot blasting cleaning of workpieces. The crawler shot blasting machine is a small machine, so its consumption is not high. Initially, the usage during the first run may be around 100-150 kilograms per second. However, since cast steel shot wears quickly during the shot blasting process, it is recommended to maintain a stock of about 1 ton to ensure continuous use.
